WHO:

Adrià Guiu (Barcelona, 1980) and Iñaki Remiro (Pamplona, 1978), founded GR in 2005, a design and consultancy office based in Barcelona with a track record of award winning work in the fields of product, furniture, household, lighting, packaging and exhibition design.

Guiu and Remiro met in 2000. They have worked together in several projects since. Apart from sharing their passion for design they also share an interest in putting forward new ideas.

Iñaki Remiros´s background as a designer and team manager includes experience in Henkel, Sanofi-Aventis, Martín Azua Studio and Coleman-Schmidlin.
Adrià Guiu’s previous experience as a designer and developer was in Mobles 114, Miscel.lania and Ricard Salvadó Architects.
They both graduated in Design and Design Engineering at Elisava Design School (Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona).

Awards include Delta Awards for Aqua Jar (shortlisted), International Design for Glass Awards, for Shôji, or the MMO Foundation International Design Awards for Flat.
Guiu and Remiro are both associate professors in different Design Schools and Universities, as well as lecturers and speakers at public and private conferences.

Their work has featured in several exhibitions and events in Hong Kong (IDT expo), New York (ICFF), Frankfurt (Ambiente or Tendence), Milano (Salone del Mobile or Macef), Paris (Maison et Objet), Valencia (Habitat), Helsinki, London (100%design) or Tokio (TDW).

WHAT:

GR is a Design Consultancy company specialize din providing tailor-made design solutions. GR works closely with the client from the initial design strategy through to the product design itself.

GR works within a wide range of disciplines. These include strategy, design management, product development, packaging and environmental design. Our aim is to give both strength and originality to each company.

GR does a thorough analysis of the product range, defines the typology of the product, designs products, defines functions, materials, consumer needs and targets the market focusing on growth potential for the business and delivering a highly successful concept.

GR is simplicity and emotion. Their work for international brands such as Fagor, Plastisan, Koziol, Swedese, NGS, Emsa, Mo_Martínez Otero, Joquer, Balvi, Barcelona Council or Woouf can be found in more than 35 countries.
